Very well balanced coffee with a bright acidic front taste and a smooth chocolaty finish. Rich in flavor, heavy bodied, bright in acidity and intensely aromatic. Great for morning and all day long.

Notes from Origin
Colombia Supremo La Ceiba is cultivated and harvested in the growing region of “Huila” where it can freely grow in isolated, shady plantations far away from any foreign influence. The careful nurturing of the coffee cherries and the use of fresh, pure mountain water guarantee an absolute gourmet quality. “Ceiba” is the name of the tree that grows in the “Huila” region, a member of the sub-family of the woolen tree plants (Bombacoideae). These trees with large, palm-shaped leaves provide the necessary shade for the coffee plants.

Critics Opinion

Smooth pleasant acidity, smooth finish, rich honey / cherry overtones, and rich medium to full body. Although most Colombian coffees you’ll find in stores are overrated, this one is an exception.
