The Harrar coffees are considered power house coffees, exhibiting a bold taste that resonates in the cup. Being sun-dried, these coffees exhibit a complex, wild fruitiness that is unmistakable, though sometimes a bit muted. This leads to some interesting flavor contributions to blends.

Notes from Origin
Harrar is typically referred to as shortberry or longberry. This longberry variety comes from coffee cherries that are physically longer than normal and has a powerful aroma with hints of wild-blueberry.
Harrar Longberry coffee is pungent, bright, earthy and has winey fruit-like undertones with an intoxicating aroma and long aftertaste.
